Fugee
Fugee addresses the issues and problems revolving around refugee children. It focuses on a young boy from Ivory coast, Kojo who tells his story, Kojo's family was killed by child soldiers who he then was made into aswell, he had rather chosen death than to be made into one of them. 'They have just killed my mother. They have just killed my brother. They have just killed my father. Kill me. Kill me.' The pain that he is going through of having to accept that his family was murdered in cold blood, and nothing he does will change that, leads him to instantly not want to continue living, as young as he is, he begs to be killed so that he doesn't have to live with such a big burden. This event forces him to mature at such an early age of just eleven. He is showed how to shoot guns and how to use drugs, the damage done cannot be undone and there is always a consequence to these things. The consequence is everything that comes after.
